Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love your cake. Because every cake is baked fresh and made to your order, please read how returns, issues and refunds work. See also our Terms & Conditions.

1. No returns on custom cakes

• Custom cakes are made to order and are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges once a cake has been made, collected or delivered.

2. If something is wrong

• Please check your cake when you collect it or when it is delivered.
• If there is a problem (for example damage, a wrong flavour, message or design), report it on WhatsApp (+254 725 811 787) within 3 hours of collection/delivery, with clear photos of the cake and, if possible, the box.
• Please keep the cake (and any remaining portion) until we have reviewed it.
• If the problem is our mistake, we will offer a fair solution: a repair, a remake or a partial or full refund, depending on the issue.
• We can't accept claims for damage after handover caused by transport, heat or handling, changes in taste preference, or issues reported after the cake has been mostly eaten.

3. Cancellations and refunds

• More than 72 hours before the collection/delivery time: we refund your payment, less any cost already spent on special items for your order (e.g. custom toppers), or we can move the deposit to a new date.
• Between 72 and 24 hours before: the deposit (60% of the order total) is not refundable, but may be moved once to a new date within 30 days, if we have space.
• Less than 24 hours before, or after baking has started: no refund, as the cake has already been made for you.
• If we ever have to cancel your order, you get a full refund.

4. How refunds are paid

• Approved refunds are sent by M-Pesa to the number that made the payment, normally within 3 working days.

5. Delivery

• Delivery location and fee are agreed on WhatsApp. If a delivery fails because nobody is available or the location is wrong, a second delivery may be charged.
