These terms apply to every cake and order from Cravers Joy Cakes (C.J. Bakers), Kenyatta Road, Juja. By placing an order you agree to them. See also our Return & Refund Policy.

1. Placing and confirming an order

• You can start an order on this website, by phone or on WhatsApp (+254 725 811 787). The website form sends your details to us on WhatsApp; it does not take payment.
• An order is only confirmed once we have agreed the design, size, flavour, price and date with you on WhatsApp and your deposit has been received.
• Prices shown on the website are estimates. The final price is the one we confirm to you on WhatsApp.

2. Deposit and payment

• A deposit of 60% of the order total is required to book your date and start your cake.
• Payment details will be shared with you on WhatsApp when you confirm your order.
• The balance must be paid before the cake is collected or leaves for delivery, unless we agree otherwise in writing on WhatsApp.

3. Lead time

• Please book custom cakes at least 3 days ahead. Wedding, tiered, cultural (e.g. ruracio) and large event cakes need more notice, so book as early as you can.
• Urgent orders are accepted only when we have capacity.

4. Changes to your order

• Changes to design, size, flavour, message or date can be requested on WhatsApp up to 48 hours before the collection/delivery time. Later changes depend on whether work has started and may not be possible.
• Changes may change the price; we will confirm any new price before going ahead.

5. Cancellations

• Please cancel on WhatsApp as early as possible. See the Return & Refund Policy for what is refunded.

6. Designs, photos and colours

• Every cake is handmade, so it may differ slightly from an inspiration photo. Colours can look different on screens and in natural light.
• Fresh flowers, toppers and decorations may vary with availability; we will use the closest match.
• We may share photos of our cakes on our website and social pages. Tell us if you'd rather we didn't.

7. Delivery and collection

• Collection is from Kenyatta Road, Juja, during opening hours (every day, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
• The delivery location, time and delivery fee are agreed with you on WhatsApp. Please give clear directions and make sure someone is available to receive the cake.
• Once a cake has been collected or handed over at delivery, the customer is responsible for transporting, storing and handling it (keep it flat, cool and out of direct sun).

8. Allergies

• Our kitchen handles milk, eggs, wheat (gluten), nuts and soy. Please tell us about any allergy before ordering. We cannot guarantee a cake is completely free of any allergen.
